PT. Akbar Budi Sakti was established in 2002. The first office was situated in Perkantoran Pulo Mas, Jakarta. The first line of business was trading billets for Steel Mills in Jakarta and Surabaya. Since 2007, our main office and warehouse have moved to Karawang.
In 2004 we add a new division of special steel and we supplied to over 150 end users and stockist in Jakarta, Tangerang, Bekasi, Cikarang, Karawang, Cikampek and Purwakarta.
Beginning from June 2006, we extend our services to foundries and steel mill in Indonesia and bringing in competitive advantage and quality materials to the industry. We also acquired a piece of land in the heart of Karawang city. It was because the demographic advantage that we use it as our distribution center, warehouse and head office. The new facility was completed in February 2007.
In 2015, we expanded our business to non ferrous foundries and smelters in Indonesia.
